As ‘The Gift of Giving’ fundraising campaign came to a close, we were deeply touched by the outpouring of love and generosity from our community. With the incredible support received, we raised $83,419, which helped us to bring the joy and warmth of the Christmas season to our clients and residents at Lions Home For The Elders. The donations raised were also matched dollar-for-dollar under the Tote Board’s Enhanced Fundraising Programme.

The funds went towards the following:

• Fulfilling the heartfelt Christmas wishes of our residents, with each and every resident receiving a gift of their choice.
• Creating a magical Christmas atmosphere in the wards with festive decorations.
• Organising a meaningful Christmas celebration, complete with holiday meals and special activities.
