Therapeutic Horticulture Programme
Thanks to the generous donations of our supporters, we are proud to announce that we have exceeded the fundraising goal of $80,000 for the Therapeutic Horticulture Programme, raising a grand total of $82,176!
The wellness for our residents is of greatest importance to us at Lions Home For The Elders, and with these meaningful contributions, we can provide a new source of care in the form of a Sensory Herb Garden.
A calming and healing space, this Sensory Herb Garden will help us improve the emotional wellbeing of our residents, including those with dementia, through interactions with the sights, scents, and sounds within it. The funds raised from this campaign will be used to set up the garden, and in maintaining it to remain lush and vibrant for the years to come.
Our heartfelt appreciation to our supporters who have helped us to realise our aim of creating the Sensory Herb Garden, and allowing us to bring an extra level of care and comfort to our residents.
